Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (such as passkeys). If you set up an organization, we also collect your organization name and related business details you provide.
Financial Data
To provide bookkeeping functionality, we collect and store financial data you enter into the Service, including journal entries, chart of accounts configurations, invoices, customer records, and bank activity. If you connect a bank account through our integration with Plaid, we receive transaction data and account information from Plaid in accordance with Plaid's privacy policy.
Payment Information
Subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card number or payment method details on our servers. Stripe collects and processes payment information in accordance with Stripe's privacy policy. If you use our invoicing features to collect payments from your customers, those transactions are also processed through Stripe.
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you access the Service, such as your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and pages visited. This data helps us improve the Service and diagnose technical issues.

We retain your account information and financial data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your data within a reasonable timeframe, unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory purposes.
